Our Philosophy
I have privileges at Hilton Head Hospital and therefore am able to write orders and consult with specialists when you are admitted to the hospital. From ancient Greece we follow the philosophy of medicine as a science, as well as an art. No two human bodies are alike. We care for you as an individual. Medicines may not always react the same in different people, so we follow up and adjust as you move through your care with us.
At the same time we believe in evidence based medicine. We base our practice on the best scientific and clinical evidence available, especially from randomized controlled clinical trials, systematic observations and the analyses of that evidence.
We work with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and MUSC Health in Charleston to ensure that you have all the best regional health centers at your disposal.
